Our one-of-a-kind "venture capital" investment that focuses on late-stage, pre-IPO firms has been bursting with activity lately.

On Dec. 2, we found out that two members of the SharesPost 100 (PRIVX), Sungevity and AppNexus, are planning initial public offerings - and that another startup, xAd, had joined the PRIX portfolio.

When I put Box Inc. (NYSE: BOX) in the Radical Technology Profits Portfolio back in April, I noted the stock was deeply out of favor on Wall Street.

But I also made clear I had uncovered several growth factors the Street had missed. Indeed, I pointed out that Box was evolving from a basic cloud-based data storage firm into a tech company offering a broad suite of services.

Box has added new sales streams by helping its clients comply with regulations, synchronize files, share documents, and "roadmap" projects.

So it makes sense that, after a selloff that sent shares down in the first half of October on profit taking, Box is once again riding high. Starting last Wednesday, it had three wining sessions in a row that saw shares gain nearly 5% (and they're up another 2% this morning).

When I recommended shares of cloud storage firm Box Inc. (NYSE: BOX) on April 11, I explained that the firm had lured in an all-star team of top execs - a smart move as the management team shifted from entrepreneurs to operators.

Now it appears that another one of our holdings here at Radical Technology Profits is following the same playbook - Zendesk Inc. (NYSE: ZEN).

Sometimes one of the best ways to spot a winning small-cap tech firm is to take a good look at the talent it can attract.

After all, snagging a list of top-notch winners proves that the company has both great technology and a lot of earnings upside.

Senior execs join cutting-edge firms in the hopes of making money far beyond their salaries. That's because they often get shares as part of their overall earnings.

You can't count on Wall Street to smartly digest leading industry changes.

Just take a look at the fallout from Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (NYSE: VRX).

In the wake of this scandal-plagued firm, the Street has started dumping any stock that seemed even remotely similar.

And that's had a big impact on shares of Radical Technology Profits holding - Horizon Pharma PLC (Nasdaq: HZNP).

On Monday, I told you that I had an intriguing oversold high-tech leader on my radar. And today, I want to follow-up with you and let you know how we can turn that to our advantage with a small-cap chip firm registering triple-digit earnings gains. Fact is, Wall Street has it all wrong about MaxLinear Inc. (NYSE: MXL).

During my latest media appearance on CNBC's popular show the Closing Bell, I explained to viewers that the markets are greatly oversold and that means one thing - we're headed for a rebound.

We've seen this exact scenario play out over the last several trading sessions as the S&P 500 has gained more than 3%.

Fact is, the volatile markets we've seen consistently throughout 2016 have created fantastic buying opportunities.

And I, for one, am excited to be able to grab some incredible tech stocks at steep discounts, just like the trade I have for you today.

We I recommended you buy ORBCOMM Inc. (Nasdaq: ORBC) back on Oct. 9, I noted the leader in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications was deeply out of favor after it lost connection to one of its new-generation OG2 satellites.

At the time, I stressed that the missing OG2 would have virtually no impact on the company's sales or earnings and the recent volatility was crafting an incredible buying opportunity.
