When do you trade LIVE?

For the earliest possible Warlock sighting, I often make a cameo on the Money Morning LIVE premarket show , right here at 8:30 a.m. ET . I then trade LIVE exclusively for Warlock ' s World members up to five days a week. My sessions kick off at 9:15 a.m. ET right here and run to 11 a.m. ET, before "The Price is Right" comes on TV. If that's not enough, my hand-picked VWAP coach Bobby Eight will be teaching and trading LIVE each day from 12 to 1 p.m. ET in the member-exclusive Warlock's World ! Then stick around, because from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. ET, Brian King will take it back to basics with a Foundations of Trading lesson.

What if I miss a LIVE trading session?

Well, I guess you're just an epic failure, aren't ya, BLANCHE? I KID, of course -- I'd never leave you in the lurch like that. You can find replays of my trading sessions under the Replays tab on your Warlock’s World dashboard, or at the bottom of our members-only LIVE trading room .

VWAP stands for Volume-Weighted Average Price. The blue line on my charts is the 1-minute VWAP, and it's THE ONLY LINE THAT MATTERS IN THE STOCK MARKET. If you have TD Ameritrade's Thinkorswim (TOS), you can add the 1-minute VWAP on your charts by going to Studies/All Studies/V/VWAP and looking at a 1-minute chart. But I also employ a Multiday VWAP that requires a custom TOS code, so if you use TD Ameritrade's platform, here are my 6 Steps to Multiday VWAP. Check that out and add this trendline to your TOS charts for VWAP "surround sound," so to speak. However, it should be noted that we have some very smart people building us proprietary charting software that won't require TOS -- my Warlock ' s World army will be the first to know when it's ready!

Are you bullish or bearish?

Both! It just depends on what the VWAP tells me at that moment. We'll review my trading patterns and signals in our LIVE sessions in the Warlock's World , but in a nutshell, if VWAP is telling me a stock is going higher , I'm usually buying the shares outright. Occasionally I will buy call options instead, but that's usually toward the end of the week and closer to options expiration, when I don't have to pay for time value I don't need. If VWAP is telling me a stock will go lower , I'm usually selling those shares short or, if the setup and timing are right, buying put options. So while I'm both bullish and bearish, depending on the chart, one thing I am NOT is an investor. I don't care about a company's fundamentals or quarterly revenue projections -- I care ONLY about the shares' dance with the VWAP at that moment in time, because I'm a day trader.

Day traders have positions for just a few hours or less, so they have to be lightning-quick to catch precise entries and exits... Waiting too long to execute or close a day trade could cost you money, especially when you're trading extremely volatile and liquid stocks, as I often do with VWAP. Although I strive to be nimble and agile in my day trading, I can't possibly stalk my open positions every single second... And because I NEVER take any position off at one price, I set stops and profit targets out of the gate. These typically coincide with the short-term VWAPs and key levels I'm watching, including double tops, previous lows, price points aligning with critical pre-market candlesticks, and others. But we'll go over all that in our LIVE daily sessions . Perhaps the most important thing to know about day trading is the PDT Rule -- or the Pattern Day Trader Rule: If you day-trade four or more times in five business days (meaning you open and close the positions -- including options -- in the same session), and day trades account for greater than 6% of your entire trading activity in those five days, congratulations - you're considered a Pattern Day Trader (PDT) by the powers that be, per FINRA . A PDT must maintain minimum equity of $25,000 in their account. They can trade up to four times the maintenance margin excess in the account at the previous close, but if they exceed the buying power limitation, the brokerage firm will issue a day-trading margin call. The PDT then has a set number of days to meet the call, or risk trading restrictions. This is yet another reason to keep your personal watchlist relatively small -- you don't want to blow your entire trading leeway on a handful of stocks you're only lukewarm about. For more on the PDT rule, check in with your brokerage firm. (Of course, you can find prop trading firms, but you'll have to pay for access.)

How do I know which stocks to trade?

I'd like to reiterate that I will NOT be spoon-feeding you day-trading ideas via alerts. That isn't who I am and it would do YOU a disservice. That's because I'm a NIMBLE DAY TRADER, so I get in and out of my trades fairly quickly -- sometimes minutes, even -- and I don't want to risk sending you trade ideas that will be obsolete by the time you receive them on your phone or inbox. What could start out as a bullish VWAP trade could end up a bearish VWAP trade later that day, and if you're on the wrong side of VWAP, you're on the wrong side of LIFE, friend.
