Talk about competing economic news...
As I have noted several times in the past, inflation is at a 40-year high amid low unemployment. That alone has caused Wall Street to hit the panic button as a wave of Omicron envelopes the nation, ushering in a volatile downtrend in stocks.
And we still have a historically tight supply chain, with reports of bare shelves in stores across the country.

Late last week we learned that a growing chip shortage is really having an impact on car sales, which play a vital role in the global economy.
In fact, Toyota said it will cut production in Japan next month by a whopping 40%.
Chalk it up to the spread of the delta variant of Covid, a strain that has already started buffeting areas like dining, hotels, and tourism.

When we talked for the just-released August issue, I noted that The Trade Desk Inc. (TTD) was a great play on the domestic market for digital ads.
Founded on the idea of using multiple channels in coordinated ad campaigns, The Trade Desk uses a cloud-based AI to offer clients a self-service platform in which they can pick from more than 500 billion digital ad opportunities a day.
Those ad opportunities come from more than 70 different exchanges and networks. Because it's all done in software, this ad buying can be considerably automated, using the AI's suggestions or a client's own ideas. This allows firms to easily maximize ad revenue across channels.

In my January tech forecast, I noted that 5G would be one of the biggest profit drivers this year.
That's still the case, particularly as the new Apple Inc. (AAPL) iPhone 12 line is going gangbusters. Preorders for the iPhone 12 alone were three times the size of the preorders for the iPhone 11.
Unlike the iPhone 11, which was an incremental upgrade to the same formula iPhones have seen since the iPhone 6 line, the newly released iPhone 12 has a new design and is the first iPhone to support 5G.

We finally got a bit of good news from the market last Friday. And yes, I know events took a very negative turn over the weekend as governments around the world scrambled to deal with the fallout of the coronavirus.
But let's start with the positive news...
What started as a pretty good rally turned into a big spike late in the day after President Trump held a press conference to address the coronavirus crisis, one I believe has been greatly blown out of proportion.

When I recommended that you invest in Inphi Corp. (IPHI) in the October issue of the Nova-X Report, I noted that, with this stock, it was like putting the entire convergence economy in the palm of your hand.
You may recall that Inphi is in the middle of all the significant trends that are unfolding now in tech. It's a chipmaker at its most basic level, but the chips it puts out are taking computing and communications to the next level.
It's a key player in the next generation of the cloud that's called hyperscale computing, and following on that trend is all the other significant sectors that this kind of advanced processing power implies.

If you want to make big money from the fountain of wealth that is high tech, it literally pays to do two major things:
- Ignore Wall Street's bad advice.
- Stick with a savvy investment guide like me who really knows the sector cold.
The hurly burly trading action last week in shares of The Trade Desk Inc. (Nasdaq:TTD) is a perfect example of just what I'm talking about.

Although the end of August is often quiet in the markets, three firms in the Nova-X Report Portfolio were delivering great news - and big profits.
I wanted to be sure you didn't miss out on what these companies reported, and why their shares just moved up to fresh all-time highs, a sign of very bullish momentum.
After all, these are firms I recommended specifically because they're the kind of tech winners that can crush the market. They do that by setting aggressive targets for sales and earnings growth.
